SolTerra is proud to be the leading developer of Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) in the Balkans, and we are excited to be part of the global green energy movement.

What began with the Kyoto protocol in 1995 as a call for sustainable energy use and development has now taken root worldwide. As interest and necessity in sustainable energy grows, so too does SolTerra – we’re currently laying the foundations to completely green the Balkans energy supply in the next two decades.

“Cutting carbon in the supply chain is the next critical stage in the business contribution to reduce carbon emissions to tackle climate change and represents a significant commercial opportunity.”

“Businesses should prepare for a second industrial revolution...carbon will become part of the daily currency of business”  - Dr Gary Felgate, Director of Business Delivery, The Carbon Trust

By combining the flexible mechanism criteria from the Kyoto protocol with our own mission of socially responsible investment we have established our Carbon Exchange Platform (CEP). This platform enables the free trade of carbon credits between organizations– essential in the post-Kyoto global economy.  This new service opens up an entirely new market for GHG derivates trading – including GHG offsets, Renewable Energy Credits and more.

“Economic dynamism can be combined with environmental and social responsibility. High financial returns can go hand in hand with respect for human rights and the preservation of the planet's natural resources” - David Miliband, Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs

In this quickly changing business climate, SolTerra is leading the way in providing businesses across the globe access to the sustainable practices that are quickly becoming minimum requirements for operating in our economy. Don’t get left in the dark – SolTerra lights the way.

“Going low-carbon is the only option for a profitable, future-proof business”  - Environment Agency (UK)
